The 'Teenage Dream' singer has said that her grandma makes sure
she makes the right decision in life.
Katy Perry has named her grandmother as being in charge of her morals, and says if she ever steps out of line she will "come after" her.
The 'Wide Awake' singer made the comments while opening up about her strict upbringing, but says she is definitely "more open" than her mostly conservative family.
"I think everyone knows that I am more open," Katy reveals in the new issue of Radar magazine. "But I hope I make all my decision with integrity.
"My grandmother is in charge of my morals," the 'Part Of Me' singer explained. "I do anything wrong, she'll come after me.
"Of course people have to choose between good and evil," Katy continued. "But I think no matter what situation we find ourselves in, or where we come from, we can always choose to grow from it.
"Scars are a reminder of what we have learned," the US star added.
Katy was speaking out while discussing her role in new animated sequel The Smurfs 2, which sees her reprising her role as sole female Smurf character Smurfette.
Katy Perry is also preparing to launch her brand new fragrance Killer Queenin August.
